Post #7: Springtime With Cherry Blossoms

  • If this were an actual field trip I would give you this advice: Be prepared for lots of walking and dress comfortably. Make sure you do not wear a belt or shoes with large buckles. Do not pack a lunch for the day. Why?
  • I believe that we should not wear belts or shoes with buckles because there are lots of metal/body detectors in almost every building, so taking off belts and shoes will be a hassle. I think that packing lunch is a bad idea because I highly doubt that the security would allow food in museums and such because it might stain if a person drops it.

  • Who are the senators for your state?
  • Dianne Feinstein and Barbara Boxer are the senators.

  • Who is the representative for your district?
  • Jim Beall is my representative.

  • If you were to meet them where would you find them and how would you set up that appointment?
  • I would probably find them on their website and email or call them for an appointment.

  • What types of security will you need to be prepared for? Why?
  • I think I should be prepared for a metal/body detector to see if I have any weapon that could harm them.

  • What question would you ask your senator or representative? Why?
  • I would ask the senator/representative what they do on a daily basis as their occupation because I honestly have no clue.
