Dear Miss Lofgren:

Recently, I have been desiring to go to the white house. I consider my high school days as a perfect time to go since I am already in a government class. I feel that every American should go at least once in their lifetime.

I really wanted to visit because I want to see the architecture of the building built centuries ago. Being in the oval office would be a plus as well because seeing it in movies is extremely tempting. Also, seeing everyone in the house working would be fascinating because I am very curious on how busy it is.

If I get the opportunity to go to the white house, I will feel more involved with my nation than ever before. I can realize what I have been missing and how our government deals with situations on a daily basis.

Sincerely,

Justin Sam

The most interesting feature about the white house was the long hallway. I find that very intriguing because I feel like it is the size of 3 hallways! I think the founding fathers made an extremely convenient and big house for the presidents because there will be a lot of people in the house working and there should be a wide area for everyone to walk without bumping into each other.
